I am a Clinical Psychologist and accredited Forest Therapy Practitioner, with a passion to empower individuals to connect with nature to support their health and wellbeing. Alongside offering individual and group Forest Therapy sessions, I have a career in the NHS spanning 15 years and encompassing work within mental health services, physical health and neuropsychological services and supporting staff wellbeing.
Experiencing first hand the benefits of connecting with nature to support our health and wellbeing, my interest in sharing this with others was sparked while working in a hospital, where patients had limited access to outdoor spaces and nature. Curious about how nature could support recovery, I set on a path to train as a Forest Therapy Practitioner.
My aim is to promote access to nature and raise awareness of the value of nature connection practices to support our physical and mental health, for the benefit of people and our planet.
